Legacy Giving

Making a Planned Gift to ESC

Supporting Nonprofits, Creating Lasting Change in Our Communities

At ESC, we believe that nonprofits – and the individuals who drive them – should have everything they need to succeed.

We partner with nonprofits, supporting them in creating meaningful change, achieving long-term sustainability, and meeting the critical needs of the people who rely on them every day. Since 1981, ESC has served thousands nonprofit organizations and professionals, helping them strengthen essential skills to meet the growing demand for their services – particularly amid external pressures and uncertainties.

Your support helps us to continue strengthening the organizations working to address our region’s most pressing challenges – and ensure their success over the long haul.

The Power of a Legacy Gift

Legacy giving offers an extraordinary opportunity to align your personal legacy with Executive Service Corps of Southern California’s (ESC) mission. Through a legacy gift, you ensure that ESC can continue to serve nonprofits and help safeguard the essential work we do for generations to come.

The following language can be shared with your attorney when creating or updating a will or trust:
“….to Executive Service Corps of Southern California, a nonprofit organization located at 1000 North Alameda Street, Suite 330, Los Angeles, CA 90012, Tax ID 95-3510781 to be used in such manner as the Board of Directors of said organization shall, in its sole discretion, determine.”

Your Legacy, ESC’s Future

By making a legacy gift, you join a growing community of visionary donors committed to developing nonprofit leaders, teams, and networks in Southern California. Your legacy will help ensure that ESC’s expertise continues to empower nonprofits to thrive, evolve, and drive progress in our communities.

Ways to Make Your Gift

ESC’s legacy giving options include:

  • Making a bequest and naming ESC as a beneficiary in your will.
  • A gift of retirement assets by naming ESC as a beneficiary of your IRA or retirement plan.
  • A gift of life insurance designating ESC as a beneficiary of your policy.
  • Naming ESC as a beneficiary in your donor-advised fund.

If you are considering other legacy gift arrangements or have specific ideas that you would like to explore, we would be honored to discuss this with you. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.
