Larry McCormick

Larry joined the ESC staff in July 2019. They are responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping of ESC’s finances, including processing accounts payable and receivable. Larry also provides support in maintaining accuracy and compliance with nonprofit accounting policies and audit best practices.

Born and raised in Southern California, Larry went to college in Long Beach. Following college, they served four years in the U.S. Army, and was responsible for utility maintenance, including air conditioning and heating repair. After their military service, Larry has pursued work opportunities in a wide range of industries from sales to customer service and even music education. Larry is a certified Professional Bookkeeper from Universal Accounting School in Utah, and is also a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

When Larry isn’t reconciling bank statements or depositing checks, they enjoy sports, piano, guitar, traveling, cooking, hiking and 3D modeling. Their wife Renee is an occupational therapist for pediatrics. Together, they help cater to the needs of their two cats.
