Kat joined ESC/the ESC staff in September 2024. As Senior Coordinator for Client Services, Kat is responsible of supporting the Vice President of Client Services in business development and strategic growth within ESC’s nonprofit sector. She manages client relationships, coordinates consultant interactions, and maintains resources through Salesforce. Kat’s responsibilities include preparing meeting agendas, tracking project milestones, handling invoicing, and assisting with event planning and volunteer management.
Kat is originally from Puerto Rico and attended the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus where she earned a BA in Business Administration. She also holds a Web Development Certificate from Bloom Tech Institute. Kat became involved in the nonprofit sector because she believes that many critical issues are vital to the well-being of society. Kat believes the nonprofit sector plays a crucial role in addressing these needs, bringing community initiatives to the forefront and making it their mission to support and champion these causes.
Kat’s experience spans across various areas including Administrative Support, Operations Management, Development, and Programming. She has extensive expertise in areas such as software development, process optimization, project coordination, and relationship management.
In her free time, Kat volunteers with Hack for LA, where she creates tools and tech solutions for communities that cannot afford them and she enjoys video games, programming, watching live music, watching TV, camping and hiking.
